Clicking

Interesting reading.

Someone mentioned if you "hear clicking" that you probably have a mantis in your tank. Each night after the lights are out I hear something in the tank make loud, repeated clicking sounds. Soi loud in fact, that I hear it in the next room.

A friend at a my LFS told me that it was likely made by the pistol shrip that lives with one of my gobies? I now have one less gobie than I did several days ago. My Rainsford Gobie disapeared without a trace.

Would love any feedback that anyone has to offer.

I think that the clicking in two or three at a time is a pistol.

I'm waiting on an X-Terminator trap to get here so I can try to find the source of the clicking in my 29gal reef. I wouldn't be suprised if I have a little mantis around there somewhere. I'll let you know how that trap works. I'm willing to bet I'll just end up catching hermits!
