Clippertons

I just wanted to know if anyone knew the status of the clipperton angelfish. I know cortez marine had issues with them in the past but haven't seen them pop up since. Are they illegal to collect? Need paperwork? I haven't seen them on a CITES listing or anything. I understand they are from limited range.

Any thoughts on what would be needed to collect these fish or their legal status.

I believe that paperwork is needed for this species, and it has to be filed through the French government IIRC. At least this is what I think from when I looked into the species awhile back.

i have not heard of anyone collecting in that area in quite some time. very expensive trip!
