Love it and also the centre rock. Maybe a waterfall down it ? What is the purpose of the top lip around the tank. Won't that be a cleaning problem ?

The rim at the top is for structural support. Cleaning it really isnt that bad. I have already scraped the glass without a problem.

That has got to be the coolest idea i have seen in a long time.

Wonder if you could get some hermit crabs to climb up on it.

Yup, thats the one that inspired me. I was just limited on the size I could go. The woman put a cap on size, no larger than 40g. :sad1:

A friend of mine made it. I told him what I wanted and had it a week later. It cost 1/2 what I was planning.

Yeah the "other" nano site is 40g as a nano. I didn't read the "limit" here, figured it was small enough. Oh well.

I think more people should look at shallows as an option. They offer a cool twist on the saltwater experience. I know I will be setting up another one as a frag tank.
