Closed Brain/Favia starting to bleach

I have had this coral in my tank for at least 6 months and it has been doing great.
Over the past few days a big section in the middle of it has started bleaching. Any explanations?
All the other corals I have are doing great and my parameters are in check.
I also have not moved the coral or changed the flow in my tank at all.

Is this occuring only at the top? If so it could be that your light is too strong and is bleaching it. I got one from my friend that was bleached mostly at the top and less so towards the sides and when I moved it into my tank with less powerful lights and towards the bottom and it has colored back up and look great.

That is exactly how it's bleached. I am going to move it down and see what happens but it has always been that high which surprises me that it is bleaching now all of a sudden.
