New to RC and just purchased a 80 gal tank from a Reefer to swap for my 70 gal tall reef tank.
80 Gal drilled glass with closed loop 1.5" pipes 4 outputs
2 back low two over top front.
running a Iwaki MD40RLT -sounds like small jacuzzi when running. 1200GPM 4 way super squirt for motion.
REturn pump is IWAKI WMD 30RLXT 960GPM 25 gal Sump..
Ther esure is alot of Noise and current going with both running.
Shoule I Put my Quite one 4000HH on Return and put 960GPM on Closed loop?
This will save noise and power . Will it casue flow issues or help keep me saine.
