Cloudy Eye on a Red LionFish

we recently got a yet another new lionfish, however after having
it quarintined for a few days one of it's eyes seems a little cloudy.
It appears healthy otherwise; it is eating ok, It swims around ok.

Any thoughts or ideas? ( i did a search on here but that just
confused the subject, so I am posting on it. )

Thanks in advance

If its new it should bet better with time. Its a bacterial infection. Providing the fish eats it should get better providing your water paramaters are all good and are stable without huge fluctuations.

New fish get this because they are transported in a bag with ammonia in excess. The ammonia allows for bacteria to gain a foothold on the fish. Feed it double what you do and things should get better.

I thought that too, but after doing a search on here and reading
that a guy used a syringe and stuck it in the fishes membrane to
draw out the infection. I thought I would get a second opinion

well cloudy eye and bubble eye are 2 different scenarios. The guy who sucks out the liquid does it when its severe. And lionfish being poisonous I would not handle this fish. :D

I had a similar problem with my angel fish. I think it was amonia burn from puting in some new rock, I would do a water change imo.
