Clowfish female to male question. Fish not eating.

I have had one "designer" clownfish in my tank for a year. A month ago I added another one. I am guessing the original bigger one is becoming the female. How long does this take? I am having problems with the clownfish I added and he is not eating. Is it just because he wants the female to eat rather than himself? There is no aggregation and during the day he swims slowly on the bottom rock. I am worried about his behavior. Any advice would be great. Thank you

Did you QT him first before going into the DT? If so how well was he eating before going into the DT? The biggest part of using QT is to make sure they are eating well and of course the obvious observation.
