Clown and Seahorse Together?

I have been running this tank for about 2 years with no problems, the Seahorses are a mated pair also.i feed the clownfish first( new life spectrum pellets) then the Seahorses( frozen mysis and enriched brine shrimp)

interesting i have read opposing views on clowns and having owned clowns in the past seeing the way mine ate i just never even considered them. but you have found a way to make them work. that is very cool. do you also try to target feed the seahorses?

Most clowns with seahorses will not work out. It depends on their personal temperament. Unfortunately a lot of seahorses suffer in the attempts to keep them with clowns.

My Seahorses have there own feeding station,so I make sure that they get enough to eat,I also have different colored sun corals in there also to catch any stray mysis besides the ones I target feed the sun corals

Getting enough to eat isn't the only problem. Many seahorses are stressed by the faster moving clownfish to the point they stop eating.
Also, as the clownfish get older, especially after about 1 1/2 to 2 yrs, they become much more aggressive and while not a problem maybe at the start, the often become a big problem later on.

I would not call that a success until around five years.

My clownfish were fine with any fish I put in the tank but at around 2yrs they went crazy and nearly killed a banggai cardinal...

SH and clownfish don't mix, nor do SH and 'nems if you plan on them.
