Clown Committed Suicide - Need Advice

The true perc that we assumed was the female in the pair due to her aggressive behaviour jumped out of the tank sometime between yesterday morning and tonight.

We need advice on what to do with the male. Do we get another true perc that we know is female? If so, how can you tell? Or do we get another male and let them decide which is which?

I've put a piece of eggcrate over the tank. It's just a rough cut piece but it will do for the time being.

Give the current clown 3 months alone, then add a small juvenile.

from my experience, small clowns like to commit suicide, they just don't have experience you know...

My kid ocellaris jumped out of the tank one night, I found it dead of course.

And my small tomato explored the overflow, and got trapped in the sock and died.
