I have a pair Ocellaris Clownfishes for 9 months in my tank. 2 months ago I bought a rbta ,but my Clownfishes where not interested at all.....they don't even swim close to it. 3 days ago I bought a haddoni carpet and today when I came home I saw my female clownfish rubbing in the carpet and sucking on the tentacles. A little later I saw the male was swimming under the carpet , but it doesn't rub in it and don't suck on the tentacles. I thought clownfish will get very aggressive when they find there host, but their not like .....they let other fishes swim close to it. Will post pic later

They will get more aggresive after mating/laying eggs.

Good to see yours being hosted, mine didn't like the carpet after 6 weeks still.

I was really suprised , because it didn't want the bubble tip and the carpet is just in the tank for 3 days. Now the carpet is hosting the clowns, i can see that the carpet is getting bigger . I think they like each other. :)

Finally the male is also rubbing in the carpet and sucking on it. They playing in the carpet really happy and the carpet doesn't mind at all. Finally find a nice host and then waiting for the next moment. Hope they will mating soon. Saw them did the pre-spawning dance sometimes but still haven't mate. Here are a few picture. Will post more better pictures tomorrow when the light go on.
