They've cleaned the same rock for several months now, its about 3" away from their cave...so I'm assuming thats the rock they'll use...but like I say, they've used it for several months with no previous eggs.
I do plan on trying to raise the fry when they do begin laying...I'm going to wait until the 3rd hatching or so before I make an attempt though...like you said, get used to how long it takes the eggs to hatch, etc..plus I have no way of knowing when they will start to have rotifers ready.
Thats so exciting to hear they could, maybe, be close though. I've been raising baby mollies in this tank for the last month (I don't know how they've survived, I never fed them anything and I didnt seperate them from their parents) and I used to raise guppies and such. But I'm really looking forward to raising saltwater fish (Yeah the mollies are in salt water, but they just arent as cool).
