Clown problem?

I noticed this on my larger O. Clown today when feeding. There are some light spots (scales missing? :eek1: ) between the two rear white stripes. He was being a pig and ate well as usual but is this something I should be concerned about. I have not seen this before.
Other fish and corals seem to be fine and water is testing as normal.
Thanks

Was your clown tank bred or wild caught? It looks like your clown has clownfish disease. This happens when a wild clown is captured and deprived of his anemone during shipping etc. If you have an anemone he can probably fight it off. We had a pair at one time that was sold to us as tank raised but we realized they were wild caught when they came down with these white spots. The little one died because of it but the larger female was able to fight it off. The good thing about this however if it is clownfish disease is that it will not spread to your other fish like ich.

Is this clown new to the tank or is there a new anemone in the tank. It almost looks like the residue left over from an anemone sting.

Thanks.
I was told tank raised. I have had the pair for ~3 months. No scratching that I have seen. They do not host in anything but I do have a manjao (not new, but getting bigger; getting rid of soon), frogspawn, and hammer coral.

Someone else asked if I have a cleaner, I do and he regularly cleans him. Would he do damage/pull off scales?

I will watch them closely to see if there is anything else or any change.

My GBMaroon about killed herself trying to stay in the colt coral. She eventually won and killed the coral, but she looked pretty rough for a couple of weeks.
