I just added to Maroon clowns. I drip acclimated them to my 15g reef. I got them from separate tanks at my LFS. They appeared to be healthy, and one has already started to assert dominance over the other.

They are in separate parts of the tank and have not fought since they were netted out of a bucket i was using to acclimate them with.

It has been about 1-2 hours. Should i feed them right now or wait till the morning.

What are the chances they will become a mated pair?

what can I do to reduce stress?

Thanks!

If they are out and about, toss in a little bit of food and see.

fwiw: watch out for battles after one settles in.
fwiw2: no way to predict whether they might get along with out information on size, etc.

I hope you are planning to get them a larger home.

+1, maroons are among the largest and most aggressive clowns.

agreed I have a pair of maroons in my 75. I used to have them in a 20. they are much happier and will hopefully start to spawn. If you have any hope of them pairing and reproducing you will more than likely need a larger home for them.
