Hs anyone kept one. Are they as aggressive as they.say and do.they grow extremely fast

I have one, most beautiful fish you can get, HOWEVER don't get one. Very aggressive and needs a tremendous amount of swimming room. This fish is best left in the Ocean IMO

I think if youre not very familiar with keeping tangs you should start with zebrasoma spp or ctenochaetus spp.

Ive had good luck with power blues being good citizens. Powder brown less aggressive ime.

I have both browns and blues and like the blues better. My blue was with me for almost 2 years until I had a crash. He never picked at corals, most likely cause I feed a little heavy to keep everything fat and happy. I have found that they can be tricky fish to keep if you don't know how to keep tangs. Just like all other tangs, they can be aggressive to other tangs and tangs are always the last fish I add. When I do add them I also change up the rocks so everything is on the same playing field.
