clown tangs

Start off with a good quality thick one. If it is skinny it probably won't make it. Feed often. Have a very large tank. They are one of the meanest fish around. I had to take mine back. Picked on every single fish I had. Beutifull fish, but I don't recommend them unless you are prepared for it.

I second the quote "find a thick one". Make sure it is eating or at least picking at algae in the store before buying one. Mine has been a model citizen in my tank I have a total of 8 tangs and multiple large Angels in the tank he does not bother anyone. Make sure you have lots of flow in the tank. They love to swim in high currents. You must have pristine water in the tank they are very sensitive. They have a bad rap because they do not ship well.

Ive had mine for about a year now. He eats anything put in the tank and rarely bothers any other fish. I think the keys to them are getting them "thick" like others have already said, having a large tank, and great water quality
