Clown turning Black!

I do not have a picture I wish I did. But I was visiting my mother who has a LRFOT and she has one HUGE false Percula Clownfish. He seems healthy however the top of him is turning black.

Is this just age, or does my mom have a Serious problem?

I've noticed that the male clowns I've owned have all darkend. The male clarkii was almost completely black except for the stripes and my occelaris has a darker shade on the top half of his body. Not sure if this applies for all

The orange on an ocellaris can get very dark.

Agreed, tehre are certain ones that does come in 'brown' also.

Some clown fish get black on their tops, bottoms, or sides....nothing is probably wrong with the fish.
