Clown with chunk missing!!!?? please help!

I just noticed my Sebae clownfish has a chunk missing on her face...

does anyone know what can cause this? i doubt it's another fish biting it off.

There was a dark spot developing on that same spot earlier but i thought it was just some coloration change.. i don't know! can someone please help me out here? i'm really worried!!!

he swims well he's hiding out right now

i do have a few suspects: blue devil damsel, urchin, or the foxface maybe? but i have never seen the blue devil biting anyone or be agressive at all.... please let me know if you've seen this before...

Can you post a pic? Do you have any corals?

I had a clown that had its lower lip torn off. Only other fish in the tank was its mate. Another clown got in a fight with a file fish and ended up with a huge hole in its side. Both recovered. You should try to see if another fish is bothering it and try to separate if so.

I once had a tomato clown that mysteriously had a chunk out of the top of his head and had a white spot the day before...... Treated with antibiotics and eventually it healed up. I wouldn't think a blue devil could do that, ripping fins off for sure but that seems like too big of a piece. Good luck!
