Clownfish acting wierd

I recently put my true percula clown into a QT tank to remove ick. He looks like he has been gasping for air and now he is starting to do barrel rolls. Has anyone experienced this before with a clown or is it just my clown?

I would do a fresh water dip...... Can you tell us more about what has been wrong with him and for how long?

Well ive done a freshwater dip. I also did one with formaldihide. I originally had 2 that i bought togeather, the male died first about 1 week ago and the female has been acting like this for about 3 days. Like i said before she looks like she is gasping for air, but i dont know why. The QT tank is 10 gallons with an ariator that is rated for a 90 gallon.

What is your nitrate levels? How long has your tank been up for?
Do you see visible ick on your clown, or are you doing this thinking that it may be in the gills?

I had the water checked yesterday the water quality is perfect. Its been running for a couple of weeks and i started the tank with a cycle formula. I saw the ick on the clown but it came off after the baths, and it is possibly in the gills

Here is what I would do. I would treat him in the QT tank and use hypo-salinity .... This prevents any parasites(SP) from living on the animal. I would bring your sg down to around 18 or 19.

Does anyone else agree with this method to help?

if the little one is doing barrel roles it may already be to late... when was the last time he ate, also are all his fins held close to his body? is his stomach pinched?

thank you for all of your help he died about 2 minutes ago.
he also had some type of white bump in the middle of his two dorsal fins, almost like a pimple. Do you know what this is and how i can treat it if it shows up again?

could be a number of things really.
