Clownfish and hippo tank in quarantine issues

Hi everyone

I'm having issues with my QT tank. I believe I was able to get rid of Ich with copper, but now the two fish look like this. Any ideas what it might be and how to treat them? They've been in QT for over three months. Thanks!

Just had the same thing happen to me. Copper didnt work. I tested the levels after every water change and everything. I just tried Chloroquine Phosphate and I dont recommend it either. Going to give Formalin another try as soon as it gets here.

Formalin will not treat ich.

I agree with tank transfer method. It is one of the least stressful methods on the fish and you are able to break the life cycle of the ich. I write try that before giving the fish more meds.

I use a a tank with no substrate and a bunch of pvc pipe. No chemicals just a lot of carbon and a really good UV sterilizer. Feed Nori to the tangs and Selcon soaked mysis twice a day or more if they are eating good. Your Hippo needs the Nori.

From what I have read, TTM only works on Ich. So if you are not 100% percent sure it is ich, you may be wasting your time with it. I wish there was treatment that worked for everything. I tried Hyposalinity and it didnt work, so in theory, I didnt have ich, I had velvet because it didnt work. The Chloroquine Phosphate worked so far, but is very harsh on the fishes eyes.
