clownfish and torch coral? other lps?

I saw a thread in GRD with 3 ocellaris clowns hanging with a torch coral. So I got to thinking how about a Hammer or Frogspawn.
Anyone have experience with clowns and LPS - and which ones

I just received 3 oscellaris clowns via rescue and they have
immediately taken to my beautiful flower pot "Daisy" (LPS I believe) and are buffeting it relentlessly. Meanwhile thriving
and not 2 feet away, sits a healthy green BTA just waiting for guests/hosts.

I'm not recommending LPS as a substitute for an anemone,
because I've read that the polyps can be seriously inhibited from food collection since they are contracted in response to the clown
buffeting.

These 3 rescue fish were introduced to my tank a little over 24 hours ago. I ddin't expect them to go for the flower pot when there was an anemone close by.

I suppose they have tiny brains.

Any suggestions on how to move these creatures in the right direction and 2 ft due west ?

You may have to cover the SPS coral until they find somewhere else to go.

They know exactly what they're doing...the amount of aggravation they're causing by harassing your SPS brings them much more enjoyment than hosting the BTA would

What type of cover would work? I was also thinking of moving
the flowerpot closer to the GBTA in hopes that they would discover some chemical bond that is not present with the coral.
I've tried the "Nemo Clip" trick to lure them to the GBTA but
that doesn't seem to incite any sort of change.

Put a strawberry basket over your fragile corals and see if that helps slow up this love affair.
This sort of clown is much gentler: I've seen maroons kill a coral with affection...

Honestly, I think the "Nemo Clip" is more of a superstition than a trick...I'm no expert, but I can imagine that they would be able to tell that it's not a real fish.

Yeah, that Nemo Clip actually looks pretty lame. A few of the
other fish are checking it out, but not the ones I wanted to
attract.....

I think a strawberry basket is a good idea, but the flowerpot
is bigger than the standard strawberry basket. But I get the
intention. I'll keep my eyes out for a large flow-thru sort of
container I could invert, hold down with a spare rock maybe.

Meanwhile, the flowerpot has totally
retracted for the night and is this really cool fluor. green. It is
usually wide open all night long. Cannot be a good thing for
it.....I usually feed at night for these corals. Not tonight....

I've had a True Percula hosting my Frogspawn for about a year now.No ill affects at all.Frogspawn has actually grown .I recently added a juvie and he went right to it.One good thing is the clowns actually feed the coral just like they would a BTA etc.
