Clownfish Breakup

My female true perc and male ocellaris have been paired up for almost a year with no problems. They actually host our armor of gods....lol. He always show submissiveness towards her by doing his seizure looking dance. The last few days he has not been hosting with the female. The female is acting quite aggressive towards anyone that comes near their area but I don't understand why. I don't see any eggs and he seems to be fine; eating and no sign of torn fins. Is this normal behavior-lovers spat?

Well I have seen the aggressiveness just a day or so before a spawn so that could be whats going on here.

On the other hand I had a pair of Black and White clown in the same 20 gallon tank alone for over a year and they were always side by side. One day when I was in the fish room I saw one of them chasing and attacking the other and in the morning that fish had been killed.:thumbdown

My ocellaris female also became aggressive when my pair first started spawning. I don't see this anymore, though.

Normal behavior, they are very territorialists, even when no eggs around!

I have a pair of tomatos that use to attack any fish comes near their dwarf anemone, even the Orange Shoulder, that´s ar least 5 times bigger than the male!
