Hi i noticed a lil whitish splotch on my female maroon clownfishbut she was eating the male wasnt soo much then yesterday she stopped eating and thats when i noticed the white thing too. so neways this mornign now the male has some of it too but he is still eating and she isnt still isnt even interested in it at all and as i read into it i found out its commonly called clownfish disease and i am real worried about my poor little guys so i transfered them into a bb 55 gal qt with dead coral pieces for shelter and now i dunno what i should do to treat them i would of just done a search but the search isnt working right now any help would be greatly appreciated. oh any there is no scratching going on however i did noticed a lil like eradic twitch that the female had once while i was watching her in the display

A series of three formalin dips, one every third day, is the best treatment. It is called brooklynella.

ok thanks for the information im about to go get some ina little while i was wondering can i just dose the whole qt or should i just dip them? and if i do dose the whole qt if i change all of the water out of it will it completely get rid of all the chemical in the water and would i ahve to throw out my filter media "carbon" afterwards

ya if you could post a link it would be great i havnt been able to find it yet i will tomorrow though I have read to leave them in there for about 15 mins if they arnt heavily breathing and eveyrhting then dip them into another lil bucket without the chemical then into the qt again right? but i just dont know the ratios of the dip but im sure there will be directions on the box or bottle or however it comes
