Clownfish Spawning

Tonight my clownfish (a B&W Ocellaris and a Donisreef Percula) spawned for the first time. they have lived together for about 20 months. The best part is, I caught the whole thing on video!!!! I noticed the two clowns acting funny, and grabbed my Flip and tripod and set it up. The camera was out of focus for most of it, but you can still see fairly well. I will post the video link later on, once I have added music and uploaded it to youtube

Do you plan on raising the little ones?

I do not plan on raising the fry. I am trying to find someone local who has experience raising the fry and want to work something out with that person. I only want to do this b/c the pair of clowns is odd to say the least, and it would be a shame not to try and raise these hybrid little clowns.

I have found someone to raise the babies. I kinda feel like I have a lotto ticket here...I might get lucky and have fish that are very valuable, only time will tell, I guess.

awsome pair! when some of these grow out I'd love to see pictures of them. I've got a B&W+Snowflake offspring thats probably my favorite clownfish, picasso+B&W will be beautiful clowns...

TahoeReefer: I have a S'more as well, great looking fish. I will most def be sharing pics if and when they are grown. Also, for the record, I like Homewood, not as big but never really crowded-and there is a great run under one of the lifts that is a blast when it has dumped the night before.
