Clownfish vomit?

Hey Everyone,

About 5 hours after feeding, I saw my ocellaris (what basically looked like) vomit up what looked like food of come sort in a ball about the size of his mouth. I fed him his normal amount of mysis shrimp today around noon, and this occurred around 5, so it wasn't just him doing the normal eat and spit routine many of us have seen.

Has anyone seen this type of behavior before? Suggestions as to why this could have happened?

Just a concerned hobbyist.

I've seen them poop but they do it out of their mouth. Totally normal... everything poops.

I've never seen a fish vomit, but I guess it may be possible.
