Clownfish white spot. Please help! Pics attached

I bought two clownfish on Labor Day. They are getting along splendidly with each other (no other tank mates except for a cuc and a tuxedo urchin) and are even starting to mature (darker dorsal areas).

I am concerned, though, with a growth on the larger fish's left gill right by her band. Can you please help me out with a diagnosis and treatment recommendations?

First picture is the spot a few days ago.

The second are from today (the cloudiness is because I just dosed the tank with purple up). I'm not sure but I think she's developed smaller spots too.

I can't tell if its ich, or maybe lymphocytes, or something else.

I haven't observed flashing, although she isn't eating as heartily today as she was yesterday. She and her mate are away from their host much more today
All prams are normal: spec. grav. 1.025; amm. and nitrites 0ppm; nitrates 5ppm; 80 degrees F; pH 8.3

Could it be brooklynella? From my online research it looks like it could be, but the fish have been alive for a long time (most people day a few days until death), and the female actually looks like she's recovering (is this possible with brook?). I've ordered formalin in case it is, but it won't arrive until Thursday. Now the little male looks infected; he has a white film on his dorsal area.

In case I can't catch them to give them formalin dips, are there any other remedies for brooklynella (assuming this is what you guys think it is)? Has anyone had any luck with Fish Vet's Revive with treating brook?

I can't tell anything from the pics. Brooklynella centers around peeling or sloughing skin and the fish is just obviously sick. I think you can rule out brook, it may be nothing to worry about. You mentioned lympho as a possibility; again, I can't tell from the pic, but that's very possibly. Lympho growths are lumpy, like tiny cauliflower. Its a harmless virus that has no cure; but will go away with good diet & water.

I had a white growth on a purple fire fish that looked similar. I gave it a FW dip and if fell off. I never found out what it was. Might be worth a try?

I know the pictures aren't the best. I think I can rule out brook since not only are the fish still alive, but they are recovering as well (that can't happen with brooklynellosis, right?). I thought it could be brook and not lymphocytes due to a white film that developed on both fish's dorsal region; perhaps that was just a coincidence...
Since they're getting better, I'm not going to question it too much
I think it will be like your fire fish, Adam; they'll get better and I'll never know what it was.
