male clown, has internal worms of some kind, and i will try to find praziquantel to treat this problem. today he developed some fin rot, and i added some antibacterial meds which have worked in the past.

female clown, eats well, otherwise great health. she has black dots on her which appear to be under the skin.

ill have pictures uploaded in teh next few days if i can get the camera.

are there any other meds that can be used to treat for internal worms? the praziquantel is kinda high priced and i wonder if there are alternatives.

i use prazi-pro by hikari, it's pretty cheap. i also do a round of deworming with fenbendazole (panacur).

jungle makes an antiparasite med that contains metronidazole, praziquantel, and levimasole. if your fish will eat it you could give it a shot, i prefer administering the meds individually.

i think im going to go with prazipro, i could only find the panacur for horses and dogs/cats and dont know the proper dosages.

thank you for your advice, my clown is just as sad as can be with his belly ack. i guess im just happy he is still eating well.
