I purchased two ocellaris clowns about one week ago that are about the same size. One is orange and one is black, my LFS said that they could be a good pair together with no problems. They did come from separate tanks in the LFS....
So....they started off fighting a bit, for about the first day or two, but then it calmed down some once the black clown has established his dominance. However now in the past day or two they black clown has really started to fight the orange again. The black clown will pin the orange into the corner on the sandbed and hover around the water.....frequently going back to the spot to see if the orange clown has moved....if so then he will find him and chase it back the corner....
So....I am worried that this will lead to death from stress or other factors. When I feed the fighting just amplifies if the orange tries to get food. Is there anything that I can do or just wait it out and it might get better...Or take the orange back the LFS?
