Clowns stay at top of tank only

I picked up a pair of false percs a month ago. They stayed in QT the first 4 weeks (transfer method + PraziPro). Very healthy and eat well. I moved them over on Saturday. Since then they just stay at the top of the water (450g tank @ 30" height) with no coral or nems around them.

There are plenty of things to host if they wanted to. Does this just take time? My clowns in the past have usually hosted right away.

They are still afraid and prob do not see the bottom as a safe place, yet.

As stated, give it time and they will come down. Start by investigating, then be all over the tank.

You can help by luring them down by placing the food lower in the tank.

When i got my bonded pair of black an white ocelliaris they did the same thing best thing was the food idea above my commenting I used brine shrimp and blood worms to get mine to move down

Thanks all. They seem to be slowly getting more comfortable. They swim to other parts of the tank now, but not down yet... I haven't tried the food idea yet.

They now also eat around the rest of the fish rather than hiding in the corner when the others are in a frenzy.
