Co2/ph question.

I finally/just perchased a calcium reactor and I am interested in how to toggle a position on my power bar to control the co2 solenoid, say like come on at 7.5 and off at 6.8? if these parameters seems ok? my ph probe is in the reactor... :-)

I only have one Ph probe, and i was told than 6.5 would make my media tun to mush? Any how, what do you all suggest? :-)

depends on your media really, most break down at around 6.5 some as low as 6.0 but it all depends on how much effluent strength you need so it does vary from tank to tank

If you are talking about how to turn the effluent on or off at a set value in the tank, then sadly you cant, not until a decent calcium probe is developed.

So its a matter of balancing and testing over a period of a week to find out how much your tank needs in a day and adjust the flow rate to match

No... I just want to turn say power to the co2 solenoid on when ph is say 6.8 and off when it's say 6.5, is this possible with one ph probe? and if so how should I do it?

you also might want to invest in some zeomag. put ontop of you media in the chamber to keep mag up. works great
