collecting nassaruis snails??

ok, so i live in virginia along the chesapeake bay, i have heard o many people just south of me in nc collecting these snails for their aquarium. I am wondering where they are located (the snails) and what the best procedure would be for collection.

I just moved away from vabeach and I have collected snails and put them into my reef... They cannot acclimate to the warmer reef temp. Just go talk to Jeff "the reef chief" and he sells nassarius for around a buck.

When I lived in NC, we always used to go out to the Banks after a nice storm had blown through. Find a nice dead fish on the beach, cut him open, and lay it on the sand exposed to the sun a couple feet from water's edge. Nassarius-type snails can't resist swarming to it...

bio- sweet, i'll have to check it out. Im used to Fish Safari and Animal Jungle. Although Im getting away from Animal jungle as I hav not had any luck with them in a while!
