Im Looking for sugestions to colorful fish that are not easly spooked. Ive got two clowns, a manderin, sand sifter golby, pigmy angle, scooter blenny, 3 chromis, two cleaner shrimp..... I think thats it right now. I love the look of the manderin but hes always on the hunt, so you never really see um. I love schoaling fish, and any fish that apears natural. My tank is a 125g display with mostly soft corals. What is your sugestions to a new addition.

Colorful,non-shy fish picks?

I just got a midas blenny , I can't tell you how much I really love this fish. it has such a great personality and the way it swims (like an eel) it is too cool. Also the colors are gorgous. I am also very fond of the colorful fairy flasher wrasses, McCosckers ,longfin carpenter, Lubbocks, yellow coris, solar, and others. There are so many beautiful wrasses its hard to pick one. Happy Fishing!!!:fish1:

6 line wrasses are very colorful and very active, i'd suggest a flame angel but it looks liek you already have a pygmy angel

I agree with all of the above aside from the 6-line, they can be very aggressive. Royal grammas and black cap basslets are nice and colorful as well.

If im not mistaken arent wrasses agresive. Theres already one bully in the tank(pigmy angel) thats been there for over 4 years now. There are so many beautifull wrasses though. The midas blenny looks cool. I have a law mower for a while. He had a great personality. My fav fish to date is my camle cowfish. It's like a dog, hangs out with me when im cleaning the tank, sais hi in the morning. I love this fish.
Are there anyother sugestions to schoaling fish? That are compatable with what i currently have.?

Certain wrasses maybe, but not for the most part in my experience. Yellows are pretty docile. I've got 5 in my 120 and they are all mellow. I think the biggest thing you have to worry about is your cuc with some of them, and that you have an adequate sand bed.

Schoaling not really... like blue green chromis but they end up picking eachother off. Maybe you could do 3 or 5 anthias, like lyretails or somethin.

why not yellow tang? Easy to keep, crazy bright yellow... at 125g you've got the space for it.

Wrasses are awesome.. i love em and have a few... looking to collect two more for my tank... but yellow tang - just cause it's cheap doesn't mean its not worth having... :)

I had a yellow tang, until it mysteriously went belly up. Besides that i dont have much algae anymore for one to grazy on. Not the end of the world i could feed it with an algae clip but i like my fish to have somewhat natural habitats.

You might want to look into Bartlett anthias - one of the easier anthias to keep - very active and colorful. I think a trio would be a great addition to your tank.

If that Pygmy Angel is Centropyge argi, AKA as Cherub, Cherubfish, Atlantic Pygmy Angel., well, you won't be adding anything small. If you want it to survive that is..
IME, they hate new fish..

Just saying,
Matthew

I love my yellow clown goby. I know hes small but hes has a ton of personality. My 6line doesnt bother any of my other fish.

Agreed. However Royal grammas are mildly cryptic. Gorgeous, however, and very interesting.

I have a royal gramma. The irredescent purple is really nice. They are a bit shy... stays near his little cave in the rocks. It does come out to feed though.

Don't be fooled and get a bi-color psuedochromis... similar colors... but they are really aggressive.

My Filamented Flasher Wrasse and Hoeven's Wrasse are pretty personable, they tend to follow me around the tank and almost always come out when I walk into the room. Just have to make sure there is enough sand on the bottom for them to bury themselves in.

+ more for a royal gramma. Colors and personality can't be beat for the price. Some are a bit cryptic as snorvich pointed out but the two I've had/have were out all the time.
