Columbia weather sucks this winter

Well, first we got 16" of snow, now we're looking at about 1" of ice for this weekend. My sister is wishing she had half of the winter weather I do, and I'm wishing that I didn't have to deal with this crap. Hopefully they're talking it all up for nothing, but I have my doubts :(

Just hunker down and stay warm Chelsey!

And for petes sake, if you buy a generator don't run it in your living room!:D

Well, it's officially started, and 6 hours sooner than they predicted.

I had an orthodonist appointment in Webster Groves at 1:30 and when I started heading east at 11:30 my car was already starting to get ice on the wiper blades and the rain was freezing...I ended up rescheduling.

It's still sleeting here but we're right around the freezing point so it's not sticking to anything but signs and stuff. That being said, the temperature is dropping pretty fast. I'll keep you guys updated :)

Thanks for the vote of confidence Greg :p

Just another service offered to our members. We try to make sure that none of us kill ourselves. Best part is .... no charge!:D

Yes ....we need members!:D

Yea, we are a strange bunch of people, but we still prefer members that are breathing.
Makes it easier to get them to buy the next bucket of hot wings.

Good Luck riding out the storm Chelsey, stay warm, and let us know if you need anything.

You can have it all. The reason we get up set with this is we loose power when we get these. Last summer over half the area lost power for 10 days to 2 weeks, Many hobbist lost their tanks. Last months ice storm millions of people lost power for a week to two weeks. again many lost thier tanks. We have learnd not to have to much faith in the power company to keep our power on. and get it on again in a resonable time. If we could have an ice storm with out loosing power, we wouldn't be worried. We would more than likely sit back and enjoy the beauty that they bring. So if and when it heads your way, hopefully your comunity doesn't experience what we tend to deal with.
GOOD LUCK ALL

Hey here in Denver in the past 3 weeks we've for between 48"-53" of snow, thats a record. This weekend its suppose to be nice only 3"-6" of snow and highs in the single digits. :-)
