Combining GSP from different sources - will they fight?

I've only recently started reading about GSP being a major source of chemical aggression. I've always thought this grassy coral was pretty benign, but maybe not?

I've been wanting a GSP wall for a while, and a recent algae issue reduced my GSP quite a bit. Now I'm looking to obtain more GSP - maybe ones that have longer polyps. Do I need to fully scrape the back wall of the old GSP before putting in new GSP? Will the different GSP species fight?

GSP, don't really "fight" using sweeper tentacles like other corals. They grow quickly and aggressively and their "fighting" is more overgrowing other corals and smothering them out.

I assumed that GSP that are the "same" won't try to smother each other. I wonder if GSP that are from different origins would try to smother each other.

Good question and I have no idea. It would be an interesting experiment ;)
