Come with me on my Custom 77 Gallon setup

Thanks Guys,

I think people have lost track of this thread, its been a long time since my last post.

The Golden Rectangle thing looks really good in my opinion and not to hard to figure out.

Gabriel,
The lights are one of the only things I can think of that would be doing this to the corals, so got to try it.

Although it RTNing seems to be happening to quite a few people from all over the place. Two full moons maybe?

Keith

Since the bulb change I don't seem to be having any more RTNing. (Crossing fingers and knockin wood!!)

I am really impressed with the Hamilton 14K bulbs. They seem to be a very crisp white color and about twice as bright as the XM 15K, which were mostly blue.

I am going to (this week some time) start to run carbon for about a week. To see if I can up the water clarity a bit.

The remodel is coming to a close, just some small details left at this point. They have obviously cut one of the French doors to short, so they'll need to fix that. Minor but important stuff.

Keith

The other advantage of the new bulbs is that my photos are coming out way better. The XM 15Ks would either blue out everything or not be bright enough.

Here is a picture from this weekend.

Looks like I'm going to have to take more pictures this weekend just to get people to make any comments in my thread.

I know I have been neglecting the thread, but I hope everyone didn't bail.

Love this pic!!!!

I'm here too and think the same thing when I post in my thread and no one else comments.

I'm still here as well. Beautiful picture of the Clown Goby. I look forward to many more come August.

As far as the RTN issue I don't have any idea. We have a pretty big club here in SLC, UT (WMAS) and I don't know of any others experiencing the same problem like you and Marc are.

Mike

I actually solved my RTNing issue. Lighting, old bulbs, should have caught it earlier but I wasn't thinking.

Wow, summer's gone by and realized I haven't heard about your tank and addition in a while. Thought I had gotten unsubscribed.

How are things going?

I have been keeping up with reading your threads but not posting much. I finished my Master's degree at the end of July and have preety much been taking some time off of everything, except basic tank maintainence and Poker Tournaments.

There are a couple of Indian Casinos around here and I have cashed 3 out of 5 tournaments in the last month. Not to bad!!

Tank is doing well for the most part, I have a couple of smaller projects, "honey do" type, before I can start the garage fishroom.

I will keep up on the thread once that starts.

Keith

Glad to hear everything is ok and I look forward to your fishroom build. Congratulations on the poker and that masters thingy. ;)
