Can someone give me a the names and address of some of the top stores in the area, I wanted to just mapquest them since I will only be there over night.

My daughter actually earned enough money to buy something she wanted at the sac mall, so we are going to drive her down there Saturday, and just stay the night so we can check out old sac and stuff, it's always a fun trip. But this time I have more motive, I figure I can push in two or three fishy stores while I am there.

Anyways thanks in advance for the info.

Thanks Pico1 that is perfect.

Davidenos I agree that store finder was pretty cool, but really lacks information, there are a lot of stores missing from those.

I've been to all the stores too many times.

I personally like Aqualife, your reef, Coral reef shop and O street. Probably in that order also.

Where is aqualife, I haven't heard of that one yet. What about Exotic did they get their new store open yet?

The store is open, But last thing i knew whas there still wasn't any saltwater or corals.

Aqualife is in Rocklin. It is the first store on the list Pico sent you

hey twisted, i was up in redding in the beginning of 05 for a semester at Shasta college... are tehre any good stores up there.. the only one i discovered while up tehre was the one back behind the wallgreens i believe... off of churn creek i think.

The one behind walgreens is Aquariums Plus. The owner is a great guy, and tries to get the best stuff he can up here. He is full of information too. Has helped me alot. I think it is his son that builds custom stands and canopies, and from what I have heard does awesome work.

There is another store downtown called Salt Water to Go. The owner also does set ups and maintence. He is a nice guy and usually has a good stock of fish, and a lot of common soft corals and stuff with a good selection of LPS and SPS. In fact he had a really nice montipora in there that I really wanted but I am only running PC's and didn't want to risk it yet.

There is another store on Eureka way called Family Pets, it was just taken over by new owners when there was a small electrical fire, and they took quite a bit of water damage from the sprinkler system from what I have heard. I heard they will be open again soon. I know they were selling live rock at $4.99 a pound where everyone else up here is $7 to $8.99...which is why my tank is pretty empty.

Afraid we don't get the varity you guys do down there due to the travel up here from the bay area and La which is where most of the stuff comes from.

Our club up here just set up a club forum here and the main guy in our club works at Salt Water to Go he can tell you about some of the really nice SPS they got in his shop, afraid I am still new to the hobby so still learning the names and such.

There is also www.chicoreefclub.com if you go near Chico. Until Redding club gets it's site up, we have been working with Chico quite a bit.

hey bill i put up a redding reef club forum on here so that the club members can use it to.the guy twisted his name brian and he is a club member.

Just went in there today they got a few frags and lots of saltwater fish....

Cool thanks for the link about the Chico club. I've head of one forming but never followed up.

Thanks!

Oh cool, I've met a couple of the Chico guys and they are pretty cool. Fish Etc has a nice store there.

Our Redding club, and the Chico club are currently talking about having a local frag swap so hopefully it will all happen soon.
