Comparative stickiness of Magnificent anemones

How would you rate the stickiness of a mag compared to other anemones? For reference, let's say you're giving it a 1.5-2" piece of shrimp.

For example, an Atlantic carpet (Stichodactyla helianthus) is VERY sticky and once it touches food (or fingers) it holds. My Haddoni was almost as sticky. My old LTA (Macrodactyla doreensis) was very good at holding on once it had a few tentacles attached. My BTAs were a little less sticky than that but still held well. But Magnificent anemones do not seem that sticky and do not seem to be able to hold onto large food. Any opinions.

ive had some very sticky specimens, and some not sticky. most of mine have always grabbed shrimp or silversides readily, but not scallop, krill or squid.

My Magnifica can grab the food and pull it off the skewer. How ever I can remove the shrimp from the Mag without a lot of effort. Gigantea and Halloni will loose tentacles befor the let go of the food

My mag's will loose tentacles in they touch my gloves in the tank same with my gigs. Sometimes though the mag seems to have a hard time with some fish or shrimp if its oily.

My mags are definitely stickier than BTAs and crispa. They seem to grab pretty eagerly. As others have mentioned, some foods are held on to more tightly. A fresh piece of fish or shrimp seems to trigger more nematocyst firing compared to older food that's been in the freezer a long time. With mine, they have no interest in eating pellet NLS, whereas, my flower anemones, crispa and BTAs will all eat the pellets.

My mag is really sticky,if a tentacle touchs my hand it stretches and looks like it is about break off.

I've been having the same issue with my Mag. He seems to be able to hold onto a piece of cut shrimp fairly well and then I come back after a few minutes to see that it fell. He grabs on quickly with a firm grip he just seems to not be able to hold onto it after a minute or two :-/
