I currently have a beautiful carpet anemone on hold at the LFS. He has been there for about 2 weeks so far and is still looking in great condition (I only put it on hold today). I just want to make sure that my system, at least equipment wise, is more than capable of caring for such a delicate creature before I bring it home.
It is a 75g with approx. 100# of LR, a 2" fine sand bed, 2x250W 10k halides with 2x54W T5 actinics, a 30g sump/ref, ASM G1X skimmer, Mag 950gph return pump, and twin modded MaxiJet 900s. I trust my ability to maintain water parameters (I have successfully been keeping SPS in nano tanks for over a year now without skimmers and other good equipment
).
Any tips, things to watch out for, advice, warnings, etc are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
PS: Is $70 for a 7-8" diameter BRIGHT blue carpet a good price?
