Condy ate my lion, is this typical?

I had my Antennata Lion for only a couple days, and he was a large size at 5 inches. I woke up today to my lion half engulfed in my condy. He was dead. Is this typical? None of my other fish were this stupid. Also, I have been feeding my anemone, too. Also, with that venom, do I have to worry about my condy?

Don't know about the venom from the lion but my condy tried to eat anything that touched it. They get a bad rap but they are quite the nem. Too bad they don't host usually or I'd get another.
