Georgi! How did you imbed that video like that? Pls do tell.

Also, was that from your phone?

Steve, this is hosted by Vimeo. When you upload a video there there is an option to get the embed code. They have two styles of embed codes. One uses frames (code starts with iframe tag). That is not supported by ReefCentral. However, their second style (which they call "old style") uses object/embed tags. Click on Quote on my post, and you will see what the code looks like. Vimeo provides it for you, so you just copy and paste it.

This was taken with my Canon S100 at 1080p and downscaled to 720p for Vimeo.

And you've got an S100? Wow, I was using an S90 today. They were hot sh!t 2 years ago. Now its old Tech. I'm sure that S100 is NICE.

Steve -- georgi took a sweet macro shot with the s100 u'day at the meeting. Honestly I insulted him when he shoed me the shot on the screen and I said it was the best shot Id ever seen with a 'point and shoot' before...not realizign at the time what a high-end device it really was... HA

but honestly what a sweet macro coral shot showing full close-up polyp extension etc just a cool camera in such a small package

I'm sure Georgi was too polite to mention the do-ray-me he dropped on that particular point and shoot. Unless prices have changed, I'm about to buy a chiller for my tank, and it will cost less than my S90. ;)

Steve, the S100 just came out. My previous P&S went diving in my tank and for a long time I've wanted to replace it. I have a big DSLR, but want something small. Tried a couple of cheap P&S and they were horrible (I'm too used to DSLR images), so in the end, decided to go with the S100, which has full manual control and shoots RAW files... And yes, prices are still the same as they always were for the S series :)

Seth, here is the photo, original from the camera, no adjustments. Only resized to a normal size:

And after 1 minute of photoshop :):

And the best part about high res images is that you can crop them:

Sweet pic of my Red Planet. That frag has spent the last two years encrusting and finally starting to grow up! As for cameras my DSLR goes everywhere :)
