I saw a really chubby one in a lfs display yesterday. It was roughly egg shaped front on as it had pigged out so much. It did have what looked to be the first signs of HLLE on its face of possibly scars of an earlier bout of it but the tank was spotlessly clean.
Mine is getting fat also but I attribute that to it living in an essentially algae refugium style tank where it pigs out on red macro all day.

Getting my convict to eat nori off a clip has proven to be the ticket. Took a while, but it's finally gotten the hang of it and has put on weight (all in just a couple of weeks).
