cool digitata

I've got a few tiny digitata frags. A green one, classic cherry tip (sorry, it's still blue lights in my tank so the colour doesn't come out in this one) and a red one...

Wow, some of these spectacular! This is nothing special except it has gotten fairly large.

i am simply amazed you have not broken any of those delicate branches over time!

seems like one errant mistake with a magnet glass scrubber or one move of your
hand the wrong way in the tank would take a branch down!

congrats! i find that coral to be quite delicate.

Logzor...just made it back to the thread and will give it to you...The digita looks amazing and love it;) Mines more orange for sure and need to get the red variation as well as a couple of the others...have two orange for now:(

there was a guy a while back who had the most amazing digis, deep deep purple polyps..ect.. I have the link around some where. The problem with digis is alot of them look great via macro, but when you look at them in a FTS they look brown.

I'd agree on the brown if you are comparing to some of the other more vibrant corals but they still are nice looking corals with a very unique growth.

for sure, I wish I could find that guys thread. His montis out-shinned his acros, and his acros were stunning.

So i just picked one of these up at the LFS, it looks ALLLLL orange or like the skeleton is browned out. I have it low in my tank for now to let it adjust to the lights, but im wondering where you guys are placing yours / where i should place it.

Have a 40g breeder with 250w 14k phoenix bulb + 2-65wPC's

AND! LOGZOR....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! That thing is F'n nuts!

Thanks fellas!

Here is a pic I took of mine under my ML-7 LED moonlight.

I love the look that the moonlight puts out and the forest fire Digi is BRIGHT red under it.

What about the blue digi, whos got some pics of that, its my favorite. I have one but it just got broke off its base and is recovering after falling on another coral...

I have them all unfortunately with large tangs and butterflies so just when they get nice and big and branched they chase down food and scatter little frags all over the place. THEY ARE SO FRAGILE IT'S NOT FUNNY!

Grow feed repeat:lolspin:

I really like the superman digi - haven't seen that locally. Here is my orange colony - they do grow fast as this was a 1.5" frag 16 months ago.

The picture I took is under 4 Blue+ 1 Fiji Purple.

These are under the same bulb combo I think but it will give you an idea how rich/deep the green color is:
