What I do is just buy it and say nothing. My QT is covered and in a spare room we use mostly for storage. When it goes in the DT and she notices, I can say without lying, we have had this one for a couple months! LOL

I've been wanting to grab some of these. Is there any benefit to keeping them in a trio compared to a pair? Not sure my tank could handle a trio but I really don't like keeping fish singly

Also, what's the deal with that filamented eel? I've never even heard of that before. Does it eat other fish or is it peaceful? Does anyone have any info on keeping them? I know it's listed as "difficult" but I'd love to learn more.

Those are yellow Assessors they are very hardy awesome little fish. Similar to a gramma in size and behavior but they are actually closely related to a comet and can live decently long.
