Cool Fish on Diver's Den

Sorry about that, I was reading a few articles about the False Shepard Angelfish, which is a hybrid. Since it was the last article that I read it stuck in my head as the Shepard being a hybrid.

False Shepard's Angelfish
The False Shepard's Pygmy Angelfish is a unique fish. Not only as a group, but but also as individuals. Because they are a hybrid between two pygmy angels, there is a wide variety of appearances between False Shepards. They range from looking very much like Flame Angels (C. loriculus) to nearly exactly like Rusty Angels (C. ferrugatus). Most look like something in the middle, which by a marvelous genetic coincidence, looks very much like a Shepard's Angel (C. shepardi).

This guy went quick - I'd never seen one before - looks like it's got a lot of character!

I've had one. Very nice colors and bold personality. Should eat anything. Just watch out for aggression towards McCoskers flasher if you still have it.

I'm the one who got it. I've also got a McCosker's wrasse. Hopefully there won't be any issues. Here's what I've got fish wise. The only really aggressive fish I've got is the Cherub Angel. He messes with the McCosker's wrasse all the time but nothing bad. Just chasing, the MW just kind of blows it off and goes about his business. :lmao: When he terrorizes the Clowns they just play dead :D

Royal Gramma

My Matted File Fish has decided to eat Blasto's so he's leaving in the morning. I noticed them looking like they've been eaten and I saw him doing it today :hammer: He's lucky that I've got a buddy that raises frags and has two tanks with zoas and leathers that hea can eat aiptasia in.

I'll let everyone know how it goes. I saw it was listed as peaceful and didn't find anything on the net about aggression accept with others of the same kind if not added at the same time.

Yeah, I quoted the wrong person. Me previous post was meant for you. LOL

I was wondering :D

I've only seen one person say that theirs was kind of a bully, but it was to fish smaller than it was. I only have one fish smaller and it's my male Mocha clown. My RG is pretty close to that size as well, so we'll see how it goes.

I've got an appointment with my pain clinic on Tuesday when it will be delivered, I said to just leave it on my front porch. I don't like not being here when delivered but it should be fine and I'll be home about 2 hours after it gets here, maybe a tad longer.

Interesting... the first search result when I searched had 3 or 4 folks saying they were pretty mean to wrasses.... I was close to getting one a few months ago but didn't because of that

I can see it, can you see this one now? If not it could be that DD took it down. It's the candy hog

No, doesn't show...but I've had candy hogs in my tanks with multiple (~40) wrasses without problems... However I did remove my peppermint hog after a few years, because it got aggressive.
