I haven't been lucky with fish recently. Rainfordi are supposed to be semi easy to feed but mines will not eat anything.

Those are not in Hawaii to the best of my knowledge.
You most likely saw millet seed butterflyfish which are also yellow.

Those native to Hawaii? Just wondering because I thought I saw a metric ton of those about a month ago while scuba diving. I'll have to go back through my pictures but saw some really small ones too that I thought would be neat to have.

I just returned from almost three weeks in Hawaii myself... you may be thinking of Chaetodon quadrimaculatus... commonly known as the four spot butterfly and commonly found in Hawaii... just collected my first one of these in Kona a couple weeks ago where it is one of the few whitelisted butterflies there. Chaetodon bennetti (the fish pictured above) is not found in Hawaii.

Matt (caribfan) got this guy when it was put back up for sale. He has a lot of experience with hard to keep butterflies. I have no doubt it will do just fine in his care

He turns into a really nice looking fish. So as long as a terminal male is not introduced...this particular fish will definitely continue to become a terminal phase male? No chance of reverting to female? Thanks

So if the Clarion angel is captive-bred, why the same price (if not more). Isn't the expense of these fish the cost involved in catching them at the other end of the world?

I'm sure the cost is comparable to running a system to occasionally breed them.
