I guess you could move. I live about two miles from the sea and I can't stand the drive. In two years I hope to move to a place where I could spit into the sea from my kitchen :lol:

Trust me, that's too close. You could end up with sea in your kitchen I'd say being rock throwing distance is better Though the last house I lived in that was rock throwing distance, I found the Sound lapping my front porch one morning :lol: Now I'm a bit farther from sea water, about a 5 minute leisurely drive from either the bay or the sound

I see you haven't been through any major storms and had to pick up the pieces afterwards. I'd rather go to work than deal with the damage later.
