Where do you guys buy your copepods online? I found a few places using google but I figure there has to be alot more places then that to buy them. Also is there a difference between tiger pods and just plain copepods other then size?(sorry the search isn't working)

Most of us don't buy them they come in on liverock however your CBB will out compete your manderine for them no mater how many you add. that is just my experience

I know this and I had thousands in my fuge. I recently moved my fuge to the basement and built a sump and pumping everything back upstairs. When I brought my fuge downstairs I mixed the sand up really bad from just bringing it down so I replaced all the sand and water that was in it and lost alot of pods. I just want to get some more in there and get them reproducing. BTW my ccb eats prepared food and copepods.

I have tried artic pods and tigger pods, both died out in short order ,Mabey you could get some cheato from a local reefer or your LFS to start a new culture. I am glad you got a CBB that is eating well, I had mine in QT for 6 weeks at first it ate mussels on the half shell then I put frozen mysis in the half shell and it ate that ,at about 5 weeks it stopped eating and was dead 1 week later. Very sad.

I have cheato live sand and some copepods left But I would just like to add some after the move to the basement. I take acouple of cups of water out every week just to dump in the DP

Lots of people buy copepods.

They were very small . . . I guess there were copepods in the water . . . My mandarin went crazy when I dumped the bag in my tank.

Others have told me they buy from this guy's retail store in Florida and have been happy.
