coping with windex in tank

I dont think the sole component was the windex. I suspect a fair amount of creep, dust, dander, hair, pollen, polish, air freshener, carpet cleaning chemical, lysol, drips from the wash water she used to clean the walls, paint from thr fresh coat she threw on the ceiling, dust from the cleaning of the air ducts... may have contributed a tad:mad2:
 
take the Mrs. to a sports bar to watch the Detroit Red Wings.

Of course, it would have to be a taped playoff game :D

And don't worry... I'm sure you'd see some Sabres fans there, too :wave:

I definitely missed the manspeak in all of that......:hmm3: And as an owner of an aquarium myself, I'd definitely be very very very.....upset.

However, coming from the female perspective, she was just trying to be helpful. I'm sure she didn't realize how all that cleaning could affect your aquarium.

I'd still sit down with her, first thank her multiple times for doing all that she did to clean, and then FULLY explain how that cleaning can hurt the animals in your aquarium. I'm sure she'll be feeling a bit guilty at this point, while understanding that you do appreciate all that she does. I'd then offer to take care of that area of the house so she doesn't have to worry about it. I'd also suggest to her that if she wants to help clean in there, ask you before she does it, just to make sure what she wants to do won't affect your tank. I think this way, you'll get your point across without making her feel completely shitty, while stressing how important it is to be careful while cleaning around the tank. I bet she'll get it. :fun4:

Then, take her out for dinner! Happy Anniversary! :dance:

Daddy daughter dance tonite, then i think we will all head over to the thirsty frog for some mma action kidding already bought the flowers figure ill give the 50 bags of mulch to her immediatly thereafter she feels guilty enuf to let it pass...this time. Im not giving up on the idea a new house with a lock on the fish utility room. :artist:
