Copper Banded Butterfly? Reef safish?

Been Reefin'
Hey guys and gals, do you any of you have a Copper Banded butterfly in your reef tank? I had one at one point, but for some reason didn't last long...

What say you?

Pics?

I've kept one in a reef before with no issues. They generally will only pick at clams. However, they are not the hardiest of fish and can be finicky eaters. I would suggest only buying one you see eating.

And QT it, for disease purposes, and to get it eating well before having to compete with other fish in the DT.

Have mine in a softy reef for three years now. I QTed him for about 6 weeks, Prazipro 2x and got him eating a variety of foods prior to introducing him to the tank. His favorite foods are mysis, enriched brine and live black worms.

reefsafe?

reefsafe?

healthy CBB will eat naturally occuring prey in a reef aquarium so reefsafe is a useless term. Chelmon rostratus will eat dusters IME.

Compatibility is something else entirely. My CBB never ever bothers desirable inverts such as corals, clams, shrimps, etc.

See the RC CBB Primer.
Can't find my vid so I won't roll it out... but for best success in a reef aquarium always research COMPATIBILITIES

remember: if an animal occurs on or near a reef..... it EATS something on or near a reef!
