Copperband from Knoxville LFS

Hello, frequent visitor to Knoxville here. I was wondering if many of you had good experiences purchasing copperbands from Knoxville LFS. I know you have several awesome stores. I have done a bunch of research and know that many people have problems with CBs partially due to collection areas and cyanide. I just wanted a loose poll from the locals to see if anyone here had success with CBs purchased at Aq or CR. How long did it take you to wean to frozen?

I think it has more to do with the wholesaler than the LFS. Mine ate frozen from day 1.

Cee I agree but I thought I could figure out which store uses a better wholesaler by getting people's experience. Is yours from a Knoxville lfs? How long have you had him?

Yes and have had him for at least two years.

It is an awesome fish, however selection is vital. It is certainly one of the more difficult fish to maintain.

Yes looking for pods and i saw him eating mysis when i feed it

Having a lot of feather dusters helps them acclimate. I'd only get one that came from quality marine, not sdc. Tough fish to keep, make sure to do your research and have an established tank
