Coral Maternity in Portugal

The polyp tissue existing underneath the cover (inside the vial) will die, with RO or whatever. The important is iodine.
Congrats. You hit a very high survival rate!

It's nice to remember.

love the pre and post shots.
Any pictures of your tank with starter corals and after they grew. Did you start with large corals or frags???

You must feel very fulfilled and happy. This is nirvana for any reef keeper. Please keep up the good work, we all aspire to do what you do!

Is there a reason you did not place the condenser outside? I assume the condenser vents to the outside through the back of the cabinet?

How did the previous condenser hold up to the salt air environment?

Thanks,
Chris

i dont think you can, because right outside is the street/road (and it can be damaged by driving and other people)
but that is just my thought (there isnt any sidewalks that i see)

I couldn't put the condenser hanging on the facade of the building to avoid to affect the circulation of the people on the sidewalk and for aesthetic reasons. That's the reason why I created an outside cabinet.

As you can see on the third photo, the previous box had no air grilles and so the air of the prop did not cross the unit. All the air passing through the unit was collected from outside.

Thanks,

Hi Machado.

Just re read the whole thread again and have another question.

In the nursery tank are you still using the Wavemaker Sfiligoi?
If not what are you using now and why did you change it?

Thanks
Chris
